This is a very simple painting done in a very short time. Following are the different stages as the picture developed - (28 x 20 cm approx., watercolour on paper)

This is the basic pencil sketch with tonal values.

After applying the basic colours (watercolour).

After adjusting the tonal values a bit.

Making minor adjustments for depth and giving some finishing touches.

As it would appear in monochrome.

As it would appear in black and white.
The monochrome and black and white give the picture an antique appearance. I love each one of them.
